On 11 March 1962 the West Australian Symphony Orchestra presented a free concert at Fremantle Town Hall. Jack Harrison performed the Copland Clarinet Concerto. The programme also included Rossini’s Thieving Magpie Overture and Mussorgsky’s A Night on the Bare Mountain.
